We’ve all done work that we put our hearts and souls into only to see them die at the client’s door. Here are some of the projects I couldn’t bear to throw away.
BLUE DIAMOND ALMONDS
This work was done for a pitch. We didn’t get the account but I loved these print ads. Thing is, after new work from Blue Diamond came out, some of the print looked an awful lot like this. Funny how that happens.

AMERICAN GIRL DOLL
This work was part of an American Girl Doll rebrand. They were planning to grow their product line beyond just dolls. They also wanted to change consumer’s impression of their brand from one that is just for rich kids. They needed to feel more modern, inclusive and accessible to their aging audience as well as attract the attention of a new generation of customers.

NAKED JUICE
This work was done as part of a pitch. While this specific execution didn’t make it to the finish line, the agency won the account so all was well.
