Umpqua Bank

When Columbia Bank purchased Umpqua Bank, it was a pretty big deal. After running an interim campaign to let customers know about the merger, we were tasked with developing a messaging campaign that would reflect the new brand, now all under the Umpqua name. The new Umpqua Bank needed work that clearly conveyed who they are, what they stand for, and how they are different from the other big banks. Thus far, only one spot in the campaign has run so there aren’t any results yet. However, I think it’s a good sign that several members of the production crew made the decision to switch to Umpqua Bank after working on the spots and learning how special Umpqua Bank really is.
