SSRTA (Seattle Southside Regional Tourism Alliance) is a group of cities located south of Seattle – Seatac, Tukwila and Des Moines – that banded together to promote tourism to the area. We were tasked with creating a campaign that would highlight the fun activities, great food and accommodations that can be found just south of downtown. After the campaign launched, display ad sessions surged 125%, homepage visits grew by 190%, downloads of sales materials increased by 300% and mobile visits went up 458%. Most importantly, hotel occupancy in “Seattle’s Backyard” rose 7% year over year.
